Consequently, prices, supply and innovation are not bound to a competition that favors efficiency, rather than being subject to the discretion of a single person or the interrelation of very few individuals. The telecommunications and radio broadcasting are delicate sectors from a social an economic perspective but also suffer from competition problems. It\u2019s been 20 years since the Federal Law on Economic Competition was enacted and it has been reformed on several occasions, having two important modifications in 2006 and 2011. The 2011 reform was starting to deliver benefits and could now be receiving a boost even with Constitutional modifications. It is necessary to ensure that those modifications will have the proper judicial technique and that secondary legislation will adequately reflect targets for future improvement.
